The Network is open to current and former Heads of IT (or equivalent) and is an unashamedly social, networking club. There are NO joining or annual fees and supplier companies are positively not invited. All we ask for is that attendees contribute to the shared cost of the drinks bill.

Formed over two years ago, we have found the mix of former and current IT Heads works well. We currently have well over 200 members including many leading companies and Government departments. Our Honorary President is Lord Renwick, well known to many also as the President of EURIM (the parliamentary and industry group).


We must emphasise that the Network is purely that, a Network and social environment. Unlike other “IT Clubs”, there are no speakers, no lunches, no sponsors - and no fees. Just an opportunity to relax after work, meet with your peer group and exchanges ideas and issues of the day over a drink. These days Networking is considered fundamental in the profession. The IT Directors Network offers you that opportunity at a minimal cost and minimal commitment.

However we intend to offer far more than that. Various services and alliances will be developed for the benefit of Network members, details of which can be found elsewhere on this site.
